Very famous museum with always interesting exhibitions. Really a must See when in Oslo, especially on a rainy day.

Housed in a handsome, former railway station built in 1862, the peace center was opened in 2005 by HRH King Harald of Norway and hosts changing exhibitions aimed at promoting peace and democracy.

A place to come for reflection. Has an exhibition about the latest Nobel prize winner, as well as an exhibition about all the Nobel peace prize laureates.

Museum of the Nobel peace price. See the history of the price, and exhibitions on peace. Use the Oslo pass for access. Highly recommended. Nobel Peace Prize museum with an exciting combination of changing and permanent exhibitions that promote popular interest in issues relating to war, peace and conflict resolution. The Peace Prize laureates are all presented on digital screens in the Nobel Field, a garden of 1000 fibre-optic lights. Don't miss the magical book about Alfred Nobel's life and work, the Electronic Wall Papers. The children's activity "Fred and Toca Loca" is suitable for children accompanied by adults, and takes approx. 30 minutes to complete.
