Restaurant and bar in Barcode with an informal, rugged style that shines through everything they do. The name Stock refers to the starting point for real food made from scratch. Stock is a place for all occasions, as an informal lunch, a business meal, a quick bite at the bar, an evening with friends or a private dinner behind closed doors in the restaurant's chambre séparée. The restaurant's own farm, Tunga, is located outside Notodden and supplies many of the vegetables and berries and some of the meat served at Stock.

Oslo's Opera House is located right at the harbour, with an angled, white exterior that appears to rise from the water. It invites its visitors to climb its roof and enjoy panoramic views of Oslo and the fjord, all year round. Large-scale windows at street level provide the public with glimpses of rehearsals and workshop activities. The building's interior is mainly oak, and the main hall is shaped like a horseshoe, reminiscent of classical theatres of the past. The opera is designed by the Norwegian architecture firm Snøhetta, and has received several prestigious awards. Guided tours available in Norwegian and English.

The fortress of the city. Great view from the battlements. Inspiration for the castle in the Disney movie Frozen. Akershus Fortress is a great place to discover Oslo's history and enjoy a summer day. The building of Akershus Castle and Fortress was commenced in 1299 under king Håkon V. The medieval castle, which was completed in the 1300s, had a strategical location at the very end of the headland, and withstood a number of sieges throughout the ages. King Christian IV (1588-1648) had the castle modernised and converted into a Renaisssance castle and royal residence. Guided tours of the fortress are available to the public in summer, and start at the Fortress Visitor Centre.
