Boat Avenue is a large shopping complex in Bangtao, located right before Tinlay Place and the entrance to the Laguna Phuket Resort Complex. Covering an area of 30,000 sq m, the complex contains dozens of fashionable boutiques and restaurants, as well as a large Villa Supermarket and a weekly night market. With a contemporary style and plenty of car parking space, it's one of the more popular shopping areas in Phuket. The shops in Boat Avenue are spread around several areas. When facing the entrance from the main road, you’ll see a long line of shops along the left and a smaller alley to the right. In between is the quirky Container Mall, built from old shipping containers. Behind that, neighbouring the Villa Supermarket, is Boat Avenue Mall, which is a small selection of shops either side of a covered walkway. Finally, a line of shops and restaurants leads off to the right of the supermarket, with a small lake over the road from them. The following are the highlights from this broad selection of venues.
