Located in the barreling house of the historic distillery property, Barrel House continues the tradition of old Kentucky distillers by producing quality bourbon with traditional methods. You can take a tour Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., with tours starting on the hour and lasting about an hour. End your experience with a specialty drink at the lounge and taproom.

Nicest folks in the Distillery District! It's a short tour but a GREAT gift shop and awesome restaurant (Elkhorn Tavern).

Take a tour of one of Kentucky's newest distilleries, located in the old James E. Pepper Distillery. Tours and tastings are available Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am until 5 pm. They are popular, so pre-book!

They started work on the project during the winter of 2006, and released their inaugural product- Pure Blue Vodka - in December of 2008. Located in the barreling house of the old Pepper Distillery in historic Lexington, Kentucky, they strive to continue the tradition of the old Kentucky Distillers by producing fine spirits made with traditional methods.

A much smaller distillery than some of the bigger names on the list. I wouldn't quite call it the full experience but an excellent choice if you are short on time, don't want to leave Lexington or just want to use an Uber
