If you are in Burlington on a hot summer day, stop by Oakledge and take a swim. There is a official 'beach' but head to the south-end of the park to the cove where there is a sandy beach, a spit of rocks warmed by the summer sun to lie on and relax, and nice rocks and 'cliffs' to jump into the lake…
Best place for sunsets. Swimming, bike path, play ground. Secret bocce courts!
