Guðlaug is a hot pool located in the rocky area at Langisandur. Guðlaug is a complex on three floors, where the third floor is an observation deck and beneath that, on the second floor, there is a hot pool for sitting. There are showers by the pool and an equipment storage room, and the first floor has a shallow wading pool. The floors are connected by staircases and the staircases also connect the pool to the beach. Guðlaug is defined as a natural pool/recreational pool and is open all year round. Admission to the pool is free of charge and there are changing rooms on the site. 41 min drive

"Hot pools at Langisandur Beach, Akranes, overlooking the ocean. At the beach you can bathe and swim in the ocean and enjoy the view from the comfort of Guðlaug Baths located in the rockgarden. Parking at Akraneshöllin. Guðlaug Baths has three levels. The third level is a viewing platform with gorgeous views over the sea and often to Reykjavík. Underneath, on the second level is the larger and hotter of the two pools along with showers and activity/equipment space. Finally, on the lowest level is a shallow wading pool. Stairs join the three levels together and also provide access down to the beach. Guðlaug Baths can be defined as a natural pool or a leisure pool. Additionally, there are changing rooms and outdoor showers for guests to use."

Langisandur (Long beach) is without doubt one of the nicest beach in Iceland and has good facilities for the public and people swimming and easy to enjoy life in Agga terrace next to the beach. Guðlaug is a new hot pool located in the rock garden of Langisandur. The view from Guðlaug is incredibly beautiful and a good way to relax in the afternoon. On Facebook: Gudlaug.NaturalPool.
