El Park Güell, proyectado por Antoni Gaudí el año 1900, se inauguró como parque público en 1926. En 1984 es declarado Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO, reconociendo su valor patrimonial como símbolo de la arquitectura moderna, siendo uno de los máximos exponentes del modernismo de Gaudí.
