Park at the southern parking off Grass Dam Rd. Easy to moderate hiking, and the loop is also mountain bike optimized.

A great hike with great views of Gross Reservoir! You will hike down to Boulder Creek and then back up. You can get to this by turning left onto 72 and then taking a left onto Gross Dam road (by United Power).

Our absolute favorite nearby (45 min) hike. The loop is about 8 miles with lots of variety: elevation change, open, woodsy, and there is a very steep, very long section of stairs. It’s just as beautiful off-season, but bring your spikes.
