Excellent for families, it's a large and varied museum, especially well known for the Egyptian collection. There are always specialist exhibitions on too, you need to look to see what's on at the moment.

The Manchester Museum is home to an array of treasures from the natural world and the many cultures it is home to. Highlights include a T.rex, fossils, live amphibians and reptiles.
