A true Lynchburg dive, ceiling covered with license plates and tables carved with names of all those who dine there. They are known for their burgers, but their Reuben sandwich is my favorite. Their fries and ranch are a must have. Keep in mind they are CASH ONLY.

Truly one of a kind! Hundreds, if not thousands of license plates line the ceiling. Open since the early 1900s, "the Cav" is a favorite local dive bar with that certain je ne sais quoi that always leads to a good time. The burgers and fries are fabulous.
