Glengarriff has a lot to offer, the most famous probably being Garnish Island and the Blue Pool. The ferry runs are frequent, you see a lot of seals and the island is serene and lots of nice areas to look at. There are a few steps involved. There are toilets and restaurants on the island.

Garnish Island is located in the sheltered harbour of Glengarriff in Bantry Bay, in Southwest Ireland. Garnish is world renowned for its gardens which are laid out in out in beautiful walks.
