The national botanic garden is a must: you can see here from orchids to palm trees, bromelias, all kind of flowers and trees. They only open from Friday to Sunday from 10:00 to 14:30 and the cost is around 5,00$

Botanical Garden with native habitats covering páramo (high-altitude Andean grasslands), cloud forest, wetlands and other areas, plus an orquideario (orchid greenhouse), ethnobotanical garden (exploring the plants used by indigenous groups) and Amazonian greenhouse. There’s also a kids' play/discovery area.
