This is one of the coolest hangouts in Vienna during the warmer months (end of April-early September). Sand in the City brings the beach to the city center. Not only is the area covered in sand, but also there are cabanas, lounge chairs, and plenty of canopy umbrellas. It's an awesome "temporary vacation spot" to lounge around, soak up the sunshine, and sip on sangria or cocktails.
