Our local pub the Cartford inn is wonderful. Booking is advisable as they get very full, especially at weekends. The have a fab takeaway Deli and there are also some small artisan shops in the courtyard.

The Cartford Inn is a three minute walk from the property, by the toll bridge which crosses the River Wyre. There is good food & a deli shop called Tori.
