In the summer, you can get a good old fashioned fry up at the Westbrook Bay café – what could be better than breakfast on the beach!

Another nearby beach between Westgate and Margate. Recommend wearing swimming shoes as can be very rocky underfoot in some places.

Perfect for swimming at high tide and for walks, games and searching rock pools at low tide. Walk east at sunset for fantastic views. The esplanade is part of the Viking Cycle trail, although you must dismount at peak times, from where you can cycle east to Reculver and west to Broadstairs with very little on road cycling.
