One of my favorites days was spent on Lake Blue Ridge. We rented a pontoon boat with our family from Lake Blue Ridge Marina. Absolutely gorgeous. You can rent the boat for a half of a day or a full day. Make sure they include the tube with the boat so you can go tubing!

A beautiful lake only a short drive from our cabin where you can swim (Morganton Point Recreation Area), rent a boat, paddle, kayak. We love to spend as much time as we can in this lake in the summers. You can rent motor boats at Blue Ridge Boat Rentals and Kayaks/Stand up paddle boards at Lake Blue Ridge Outfitters.
