Explore the vessels at the historic dockyard - a Cold War submarine, a WWII destroyer and a Victorian sloop or watch master rope makers at work.

A bit further on from Upnor and you’ll come across The Historic Dockyard. There is lots to discover and learn about the history of these docks and the role they played in various battles. You can also explore a submarine and get on one of the old ships. There is often a trail for children to follow too, especially in the holidays. Opposite the dockyard is the Dockside Outlet Centre with a number of shops, restaurants, gym and cinema.
