Despite its unassuming exterior, Sasabune is LA’s epicenter of power-lunching. It’s the best omakase (Japanese chef's choice) lunch in the city. You can bring anyone here—producers, actors, filmmakers—and they’ll be impressed. I like omakase for business, because it encourages a trusting mentality. Everything is in the hands of the chef. Just know that it's impossible to walk in for lunch—make a reservation in advance.

You can't come to Los Angeles and not eat sushi. Sushi Sasbune has some of the best in the city. Their rice is warm and the fish is cold, making everything melt in your mouth. Their attention to detail and the ability to create artful mouthfuls is something to be experienced. If you want the full experience, go with the Omakase - 10 courses of perfection.
