Stop by El campanario on your way to the malecon, if it is in the morning order the chicken fajitas or if you stop by at night order the famous tamales. Affordable and extremely delicious place to eat.

What a good place with delicious traditional mexican food, it's a familiar business in front of Guadalupe's virgin church in downtown, they have the grandmas recipe!

Best place to go for traditional Mexican food. For MXN 70 I got a chicken fajita dish, includes water and small dessert. They have different dishes at the same price.
