Place one foot in the west and one in the east at the Prime Meridian of the world. Learn all about Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and how Greenwich came to be the home of time.

Spectacular in the day and at night....when walking around Greenwich after dark look up to the Royal Observatory to see the meridian line as a laser through the night.

You wîll not regret a hike up to the top of Greenwich Park. Sitting next to the General Woolf statue lies the Royal Observatory and a museum which charts the history of time. The views over the Royal Naval College and the Queen’s House sre stunning. The bend in the River Thames can be seen and there are views of The Shard, The London Eye and St Paul’s Cathedral. You may like to stand with one foot on either side of the Greenwich Meridian, to be found at this spot.

Space Observatory and telescope. Greenwich Observatory is a “must see” for the local area with coffe shops, snack bars, a beautiful park and excellent views of London. An excellent experience with some free museum attractions.
