Kōtoku-in (高徳院) is a Buddhist temple of the Jōdo-shū sect in the city of Kamakura in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The temple is renowned for its "Great Buddha" (大仏 Daibutsu), a monumental outdoor bronze statue of Amida Buddha which is one of the most famous icons of Japan.

Kotoku-in is a Buddha Temple with almost a thousand years. In the temple, you can see "The Buddha at Kamakura" which is a Bronze Buddha Statue with 13.35 meters height and 93 tons weight. It is the second large Buddha Statues in Japan. It is strongly recommended to visit it if you go to Kamakura. You can take Enoshima Electric Railway at Kamakura and get off at Hase Station.
