Kysty offers a great option for a proper dinner or lunch, bridging the gap between formal and casual nicely. Its the little sister restaurant of the Michelin starred The Old Stamp House just around the corner.

This used to be a cafe but in 2020 became a neighbourhood bistro. It’s under the same team as The Old Stamp House restaurant nearby. Kysty offers a simplified versions of the Old stamp House’s a la carte menu. It’s wonderful!!! For those not familiar with Cumbrian dialect , Kysty ( rhymes with feisty not Misty) means ‘overly discerning about ones food, or fussy’ Go!
