It is located in the village of Pitrofos, and is 6 km away the town of Andros. This is about a building 400 years old that operated as an animal olive mill until 1963. Restored and turned into a museum, preserving all of it its original equipment. The visitor of the museum is guided in an interactive way to learn about the history of olive oil production, to come to contact with flavors, sounds, take part in part of the olive oil production process, to be informed about the qualities of olive oil.

The museum hosts native olive oil making techniques/ relics on the islands of Greece.

Superb little museum - the owner is very friendly and does a great guided tour. Definitely worth a visit.
