Chaco culture National Park is about an 90- 2 hr drive away form the Airbnb. This site has drawn International scientists to explore the knowledge tribes had when it was build, a fascinating and jawdropping experience. See for yourself!

It's a 3.5 hour drive but well worth it. It is a long day trip but you will see Anasazi Indian ruins that are breath taking.

Yet another Pueblo Peoples ancient site (in fact a cluster of sites to explore!), this is the longest occupied, from approximately 850-1250. It is only an hour and 30 minute drive south but take food and water--it is remote!
