The museum is filled with historical items relating to wine growing and production and we found it fascinating. What we liked best, though, was the flight of wine tastings we did at the end of our visit. Musée du Vin also includes a restaurant, a gift shop, and meeting facilities.
If you don't have time to go out in France to some to some vineyards, this is an excellent place to try wine tasting
Located in the heart of Paris, a few steps from the Eiffel Tower and the Ile aux Cygnes, the Musée du Vin is housed in vaulted cellars that you would not suspect from the street. Inside, you will discover the history and the development of this typical French heritage product. The vault was built on ancient limestone quarries in the thirteenth century and is worth the visit on its own.
