This store has thousands of sodas. That's just about it. Some retro candy too... it's a spectacle and you'll probably find something you HAVE to try.

This is not a normal "grocery". It's one of the oldest businesses left in Highland Park. I recommend it not for your essential 1st stop grocery buying but, if you want to explore some nostalgic soda pops, curiosities and other libations. Look no further than here. A walk down memory lane. In Highland Park since the early 50's and originally started in downtown since 1897. I hope it's still there by the time you are reading this as the neighborhood is constantly changing for the new.

Choose from hard-to-find vintage candy bars such as the Abba-Zaba, Chunky, Rocky Road and Hershey’s bars in nostalgic packaging. Get lost in the aisles stocked with more than 550 varieties of craft beers and vintage sodas, including Coca-Cola that’s truly made in Mexico (not just bottled there) with real cane sugar (not high fructose corn syrup).

This place looks unassuming from the outside, but it boasts the largest selection of beer, soda, and candy. If there is another retailer that has as much a variety of beer as Galcos, then tell me.
