Buying wine in Norway is only possible at the government owned wine monopoly. There is one located on the same street just a few blocks down.

In Norway you can't buy alcohol over a certain percent in the grocery stores (that means only beer and cider). You need to go to Vinmonopolet. This is the closest one. Or you can go to the one at Majorstuen (across the Frognerpark).

You have to go to this store to buy wine and alcoholic beverages. Opening hours: Monday - Thursday: 1000-1800 Friday: 0900-1800 Saturday: 0900-1500

Alcohol store just around the bloc. Closes early. Only place to get wine and spirits
