This is NOT your usual tourist attraction. In fact, even amongst the citizens of Nottingham the tunnel that connects the city to The Park Estate is not well known at all and can be tricky to find. Chances are that you will be the only people visiting. Built in 1855 so that horse carriages could access The Park more easily, the tunnel is a magnificent piece of engineering.

One for the Geologists! A tunnel carved into the Nottingham sandstone formation found in this area. Hidden away within the Dickensian Park estate and over overlooked
