This restaurant takes its visitors on a journey back to Hanoi's subsidy period (1975-1986). The cafe walls are adorned in post-war nostalgia items - old radios, sewing machines and a vintage bicycle. Food will be served on vintage enamel plates, and the menu is quite extensive; including a number of vegetarian options.

We are kind of lucky to be close to this very good local Vietnamese restaurant. Just around the corner, but a lil bit small so hopefully you can be seated right away. Dishes are made just like home cook, reasonable portion for small group (2-3) ppl and ofcourse tasty

From a Google Maps review: "The New York times wrote an article about this restaurant and their interesting food ration coupons, which were used back in 1976 when the state complelty controlled the economy. The whole restaurant is dedicated to reminding patrons what it was like back in the day when restaurants were barred from having names and certain food items were scarce."
