On the Via Cassia, on the way to Siena, there is Bagni di San Filippo a little village that grew around a natural source of hot sulphuric water. It runs along the side of the hill creating fascinating waterfalls and white formations with pools and natural slides. It is free but can be busy, and it will be very smelly but kids of all ages adore it.

A beautiful spot, a natural hot thermal water source, no ticket entrance, just a natural spot in the wood. You can also enjoy a bath there, there are natural pool with different temperatures.
