The ruins of Tulum is a place that you must know when you come to the Riviera Maya, it shows a small city and temples on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. You can spend half a day touring the pre-Hispanic city and then you can go to the beach of Santa Fe that is located about 300 meters from the ruins. The ruins are beautiful! A must see in Tulum. But go early in the morning if possible. They open at 8 AM. It gets very hot there. Take water to drink, and you can swim on the beach in part of the park.

arguably the biggest cultural pull Tulum offers and it’s clear to see why year on year tourists continue to flock to these superbly located Mayan ruins. Perched high on a cliff with sweeping vistas of the jewel toned ocean below, you come for the culture but stay for the view at Tulum’s ruins. Tip: arrive early!
