This 2 km boardwalk trail will amaze you with the unusual plants you will discover. Interpretive signs make it easy to identify the carnivorous Pitcher Plant and others such as Labrador Tea.

Brokenhead Wetland Trail is a 2.7 kilometer heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Brokenhead Ojibway Nation. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips and is best used from May until October. An easy, level trail, partly gravel but mostly boardwalk. There is lots of excellent signage describing the wetland environment, some of the common plants, and their significance to the native peoples of the area. 10 mins away.

This delightful trail, found off of Highway 59, invites you to a cedar forest and a unique ecosystem containing orchids, a bog, a fen, with interpretive trail. Will about an hour to complete the trail, well worth experiencing.
