The Highlands, once known as the Traditions Course when it opened and among Golf Digest’s list of best courses in1997, was designed by Kurt Sandness, president of SKAMP Golf Design, North Carolina, and Minnesota. The mission was “to create an aesthetically appealing, playable and strategically challenging golf course amidst the beauty of Mother Nature”. Under the new ownership of Keith Hiett, the course once again The Tradition has never looked better. The well-bunkered lush, finely manicured greens, and rolling fairways testify to the TLC that takes place on a daily basis.
