Summer above the city. First opened in 1971, Snowbird's Aerial Tram whisks passengers along a 1.6 mile cable and up 2,900 vertical feet during the 10-minute trip to the top of Hidden Peak. The round-trip can be done in 40 minutes, including about 20 minutes of sightseeing on Hidden Peak, but guests may spend as long as they wish. The Tram and the Hidden Peak Terminal are handicap accessible. Escape the heat and enjoy 360 degrees of breath-taking views with a Summer Scenic Tram Ride at Snowbird.

If you are not skiing or snowboarding, you can still ride the tram up to check out the scenery. There is also a cafeteria style place to sit and eat at the top of hidden peak. Make the trip. Snowbird holds a full moon dinner every so often that is fun.

Taking the tram up at Snowbird is a great way to take in the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains.

Tram Club is a bar at the base of Snowbird tram located in the huge gear workings. A must for the of age if you ski or ride the Bird.
