It's one of the most recognisable images in surfing: the poster for the classic 1972 movie Morning of the Earth. The surfer on the left, standing ready to enter the waves at Uluwatu in Bali, is Rusty Miller. Born and raised in California, he settled in Byron in the 1970's. Book a surf session with Rusty or his daughter Tyler. They hold an exclusive license for teaching ‘one-on-ones’ at Watego’s Beach and also at the iconic surfing beach The Pass.
