The area is one of the best for birding in the world, especially Patagonia, which is just 20 minutes away from our property. It’s a super cute town, and you can take the family to visit this hummingbird center!

Small town with plentiful trees and an Audobon Society designated birding spot. Take time to sit and be with the birds. In town, find cafe, restaurants, shopping (The Trading Post is a fun store with local art, stickers, and more).

Once somebody's backyard, Tucson Audubon's Paton Center for Hummingbirds attracts thousands of birders every year. On this 1.4-acre property outside Patagonia, Arizona, visitors have recorded more than 200 bird species, including the dazzling Violet-crowned Hummingbird, within the center’s diverse, native landscape.
