The Sugar shack as we call it in Quebec is open from the end of February to April when spring brings warm days but freezing nights. Maple syrup is made by boiling 40 litres of maple water (sap) until it is reduced to 1 liter of syrup. Make sure to pick up your years supply of maple syrup while in the area!!!
