Use this local mountain, a half day trek roundtrip to get a good warmup to do tougher 46'ers on another day. Views from Jay Mt. of Vt and back to the High Peaks are awesome. Check out the hiking guidebook in the Ensuite for more info.

This is a series of peaks called the 'Jays'. The first one is Jay Mt Lookout that has fabulous 360 degree views from the top for an hour hike up. You can keep going to reach the top Jay Mt but that is another hour hike at least and lots of up and down, some tricky climbing in places
