Outside the park. It's on the way to 29 Palms off the 62. A little harder than I thought but well worth it. 2/3 miles in and back with hills. Beautiful views of the Morongo Valley. The oasis is palm trees and a small creek. Great when you first see the palm trees in the distance.

A 3 mile (out and back) hike to an actual oasis. Moderately challenging incline. Great spot for a picnic!

This is a great hike to see a unique Palms Oasis in the high desert. Enter another world.

49 Palms Oasis is an oasis in the middle of the desert. It’s not the easiest hike but worth it. Wildlife like bighorn sheep often use the area as a watering hole.
