Cape Columbine stands on a massive outcrop of rock known as Castle Rock, it rests on a windswept coastline within the Columbine Nature Reserve. A good site to combine with visiting Seekombuis.

Cape Columbine and Tietiesbaai are terrific for picnics, sightseeing and relaxing next to a magnificent, rugged coastline. Plenty to explore so make a day of it.

Visit the most famous lighthouse in S.A., situated at Tietiesbaai, 5 km from Paternoster. Tietiesbaai is a reserve, with spectacular wild flowers during August/September flower season. But the most spectacular...the huge flat rocks leading into the sea with the waves crashing against the rocks. And see if you could spot the tietie!
