It was born from the will of the eclectic and eccentric Frederick Stibbert, who at the end of the 19th century restored and transformed Villa Montughi to make it his residence as well as a suitable container to accommodate his vast collection. You don' t need to go in the city center to experience a unique museum and in addition there is a beautiful park to enjoy !
