Many flock here for the mile of sandy beach, a good place for families, with lifeguard stations, a bathhouse, food concessions, and beach supplies. There is also a playground near the beach, as well as picnic areas and a pavilion for larger groups. Park facilities also include a marina with boat rentals.

This museum is amazing and beautiful. There are so many wonderful exhibits that it takes more than one trip to get through the entire museum. The best part is that is is free. All you have to do is go online and get tickets ahead of time. Whenever anyone comes to visit me it is a place they must see for themselves.

First Sunday Arts Festival
The First Sunday Arts Festival is the regions premier monthly arts festival. The festival is held on the first Sunday of every month May through November on West Street in downtown Annapolis. Shop from 130 local and regional artisans and enjoy outdoor cafes and live bands at 4 stages each day.
