Paul & I finished restoring this old miners cottage in 2011. It still looks as good as new and guests are pleasantly surprised at the size & décor and especially the open fire in the lovely outdoor area. Basically its a place for people to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and to catch up with friends and families from the local areas. We love it and hope you do too!
My apartment is a new development adjacent to my home set on 10 acres of farmland literally on the banks of the mighty Murray River not far from its source in the Snowy Mountains. Listen to the cockatoos, marvel at the deer and the kangaroos, laugh at the wombats or catch a trout or a famous Murray cod or simply watch the river slowly passing by whilst laying by the pool. The choice is yours in this little piece of paradise.
Turn of the century "Farm Worker's Cottage" that became part of Tumbarumba as this picturesque little mountain town has grown over the last 100 years. Once part of the original Snowy's farming land holdings, it's now just a short distance from the beautiful parklands, delightful cafes, wineries, trout fishing, & historical walking tracks such as the Hume & Hovell National Trail. With ski fields within easy access, there is something to satisfy every adventure & taste throughout the year.
