Buffalo Springs Distilling CompanyOn the Bourbon Trail The Buffalo Springs Distilling Company got it's start in 1868. It closed and it's warehouses were emptied out by the 1970's. This building is one of the last structures left on the site. This historic building was the main office and gatehouse for visitors to the distillery, so we can offer one bedroom due to the size of the structure. Queen size bed in the bedroom. There’s also a Queen Air Mattress that can be utilized in a pinch for folks that are staying at least a week

We live just: 10 minutes from Old Friends Farm 15 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park 30 minutes from UK and Keeneland 30 minutes from 5 distilleries 35 minutes from The Ark Encounter We live on a small 6 acre farm with 2 sheep, 2 goats, 2 cows, 2 chickens, 2 cats, and a dog. Our house is a lovely combination of 2 houses in 1. We live in one part of the house, and rent out the other section. Come stay in the 1930s era farmhouse!

Staying here will give you a quintessential small town living experience, with a malt shop, antique stores, a library, churches and a variety of locally owned restaurants all within walking distance, yet we are 10 minutes by car from Bluegrass Airport, world class racing at Keeneland, stunning horse farms, the state capital and KSU, the Kentucky Castle, and the Bourbon Trail.
