General introduction to Oyster farming, the process involved in getting oyster from seed to restaurant plate. Tour of oyster farm, higlighting different stages of oyster growing. Outlining different methods of growing oysters and highlighting current research project we are undertaking to grow oysters in alternative method. Demonstration on how to shuck (open) an oyster and best of all get to taste an oyster fresh out of the water. Other things to note The tour will involve a gentle 300m walk on the beach to the farm. Remember to wear weather appropriate clothing and beach appropriate footwear. They may have to walk in a couple of inches of water

A daytime/sunset kayak trip with the majestic Errigal mountain and Poison Glen for a backdrop. THE PERFECT COUPLE EXPERIENCE. You will be met at a prearranged meeting spot where we will get you sorted out with the required equipment. This will be followed by a safety chat and on land instruction. Then we will get on the kayaks get everyone comfortable with paddling on the water. A chilled out paddle follows taking in the scenery and hopefully stunning sunset. All this will be accompanied by stories, history, mythology and geology of the area during our trip. Even some fun games and challenges can happen along the way. An unforgettable experience. Photos will be taken during the journey and sent out lo everyone after.

As your private host, you will get a personal walkabout of my favourite places and hidden jams through my eyes, exploring the oceanfront and features some unforgettable locations on route to take photos. Meet and greet at the slieve league visitor centre -The tour will start in the center with information about the center when it opened and the cost of the project - On the way to the cliffs I will point out the birth place of the well known folklorist Sean O Eochaidh -Folklore stories from the local area including the story of Cnoc Aine which is located in the environs of the slieve league cliffs -I will give information on the cliffs including the geology and also history of the local area -The culture of the area which includes the irish language and the rich music heritage in the area -The history of the fishing in the area On completion of our tour and my talk at the cliffs, we will return to the center for tea/coffee and homemade scones -Poetry recitation/song Other things to note Bring clothing that's suitable for the four seasons in a day weather we get in Ireland! bring a light rain jacket it's always a good idea

You’ll be taking these friendly gentle animals on a hill walk across some of the most scenic parts of the Wild Atlantic Way. The trek begins with a short introduction to the Alpacas and their origins as well as learning each of their names and quirky personalities. You get to feed them and freely interact with them. Your only distraction will be the stunning vistas of the Wild Atlantic, Malin Head and the Star Wars shoot location.( The Total time is approx 45mins to a hour ) Other things to note Be prepared for all weather conditions.

We will start in our driveway, located within walking distance to most of these hikes. All social distancing rules will apply. We will gear up accordingly to the weather and ensure everyone has everything they will need. All hikes will approximately take 2-3 hours from start to finish. Walking up the mountains of Knockalla, you will experience breathtaking views of the sea and rolling hills. The walk down is moderately steep but very safe as well. Once we get to the top of the mountain, Lauren will take your photo as a memory of the hike. You can opt to have three photos taken of yourself on the hike. You will not leave feeling disappointed. This hike has outstanding points of natural beauty. We are both very excited to show you what we get to see every day. After the hike, you will have a choice to eat lunch on our outdoor patio or be given a takeaway. Either option is up to you. All meals are prepared for you by Dessie, a highly-skilled professional chef. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we can no longer have anyone inside the house except for using the restroom. If you see any dates that are not listed, feel free to message us, and we will do our best to make a date available. Other things to note In some cases, the hike will be all uphill to start this might not be the best experience for smaller children.

Have you ever wanted to make something from silver and didn’t know where to start? Or maybe you have basic skills and want to learn more, this course is for you. We start at 9.30 with a cup of tea or coffee and a chat before moving straight into the workshop. Your skill level will determine what we do first as this day is a one to one course and as such, tuition is tailored to your exact needs. Whether you wish to make a necklace, set a gemstone or something else, we will start with a rough design and take it from there. We will stop for a home prepared lunch before getting back to work for you to finish your piece. We complete the day at around 3pm with a finished piece of jewellery for you to bring home. Other things to note Gold is not provided as part of this course, however if you wish to purchase gold before the course start date please let me know

Suitable for beginners you will go on a family kayaking trip with a difference, Following clues placed in certain locations you will kayak along this stunning location solving the clues as we have a relaxed paddle to the hidden treasure. To solve the clues teamwork will be required. On solving the clues and finding the treasure you will be rewarded with sweets and a sheet to sign. The return journey back to the start can be another relaxed paddle or some kayak games and challenges. Photos will be taken during the activity and sent via email or direct to phone.

Before we meet, I will chat to you either by phone or email about your option to use silver which is included in the course price or to purchase gold (Priced by weight, based on your ring measurements and requirement and market value at that time). When you arrive for your wedding ring making experience, we will get to know each other over a cuppa and a chat before moving into the workshop to make your rings. The day is exclusive to just one couple and as such is all about the two of you. You will both have ample time to learn the goldsmithing skills needed to make your pieces in a relaxed but professional setting under my expert guidance. We will break for a lovely home cooked lunch before getting back to the workshop to finish your forever rings. If you wish, your rings can be sent to Dublin Castle for hallmarking and will be sent back to you then. Other things to note: Price includes lunch, silver, and hallmarking service. We have three friendly dogs who will probably want to say hello, only if you are happy to meet them, as well as a cat (but she probably won't be seen).
