Less than a mile from our Hideaway is the beautiful and serene lagoon with an easy walking trail adjacent that winds around the water.

Nice flat area to take a walk along the lagoon. Some good bird watching. Nice little nature center when open. If you walk from west to the east - you came upon Aviara Golf Course which you can enter have a drink of water (dogs too & a treat) and even partake sitting outside at the restaurant lounge.

Take a beautiful hike around the lagoon. You'll see & hear birds that you've never seen before. If you're a bird watcher, bring your binoculars. Walk ALL the way to the end and you'll see local horses on private property... a rare commodity in this area! It's FREE!
