My favorite and secret were to think dream and relax. Love this place!!!! Bordering the cathedral when dark, walk around starting from the left hand side passing through museo Mares (take a look ) continue bordering and you'll see the tiny light the medieval buildings, the rocky street and…

The current cathedral was built during the thirteenth to fifteenth centuries on the old Romanesque cathedral, built in turn over a Visigothic church that preceded a early Christian basilica, whose remains can be found in the basement, in the Museum of History of the city The completion of the…

“Surely "the" museum to visit in Barcelona. For the artist and for the building. Imagine Montcada Street, in the Gothic quarter, five mansions united to form a museum, lovely to visit. About Pablo Ruiz Picasso the museum is essential to understand his formative years. The genius of the young artist is revealed to us through more than 3,500 works that make up this permanent collection.”

“One of the best surviving examples of the Catalan Gothic style, this graceful basilica stands out for its characteristic horizontal lines, plain surfaces, square buttresses and flat-topped octagonal towers. Its superb unity of style is down to the fact that it was built relatively quickly, with construction taking just 55 years (1329 to 1384). There’s also some stunning stained glass, especially the great 15th-century rose window above the main door. The original window fell down during an earthquake, killing 25. The incongruous modern window at the other end was a 1997 addition, belatedly celebrating the Olympics.”

“he Parc de la Ciutadella is very idyllic and probably the greenest oasis in the megacity of Barcelona. It invites you to relax, to rebound and to go for long walks, as well as for a picnic. You can also use a rowing boat on the lake. On the grounds of the Parc de la Ciutadella, there are several attractions: the zoo, the Catalan Parliament. The Museu d'Art Modern is situated in the building of the parliament. The Zoological Museum and the Museu de Geologia are placed in the area of the park. ”

“A street in central Barcelona, popular with tourists and locals alike. A tree-lined pedestrian mall, it stretches for 1.2 kilometres connecting Plaça de Catalunya in the centre with Colombus statue.”
