Town is a short walk from the retreat with many many places to eat, visit, enjoy. I like the George Hotel for a drink and Marks and Spencers for some lovely food.

Colchester Town has a very large selection of Restaurants, Cafes, Shopping, Nightlife, The World Famous Castle Park and Castle with ancient Roman Ruins, Wonderful Museums,Weekly Markets.
