Worth the trip if just to get out of town. It's about 45 miles north via I-25 but take the scenic route along the Rio Grande River for just 5 minutes more. Sparkys is a quirky burger joint. Fills up fast for lunch. Try the green chile cheesburger. And while in Hatch you have to take home some world famous Hatch Green Chile.

Cool decor, famous for their green chili burgers (yum!), family friendly and fast service. Plus it's located in Hatch, NM, where you can shop and pick up a bushel or baggie of fresh chilis.

Storied, funky counter-serve burger cafe with vintage memorabilia, BBQ & specialty shakes. Best restaurant in Hatch New Mexico.

If you make the trip out to Hatch (and I highly recommend you do), you MUST stop in for a NM green chile burger.... called the World Famous... with a side of pineapple coleslaw or sweet corn with Hatch green chile & onion... all washed down with a Chile Mango or Sassy Strawberry shake... there is absolutely nothing else better!

This place is quirky and fun and the food is delicious! If you are here for an extended stay, drive through the pecan orchards and go have a green chili cheesburger and listen to music!! no beer here
