This veritable mecca of antique dealers is surrounded by former mansion houses and is always bustling. At weekends the atmosphere is particularly lively with its thriving Book and Antiques market.

A cosy part of Brussels, Sablon has a lot of antique shops and you also find most of the chocolatiers in the square.

Very cute & well-known "Place" with all the chocolateries you can imagine. You must go there have a coffee and try some chocolates. My personal favorite is Wittamer or the famous Marcolini. The Sablon is a lovely area adorned with beautiful shops and restaurants....the Square is not typical......everything happens around the edges and the centre has cars passing through....the back of Notre Dames church at one end....there are a few restaurants and a lovely florist,a furniture shop and your obligatory chocolate and icecream shop...there are some antique shops and some jewellers. By metro: 23 min - line 3 or 4 By bus: 20 min - bus 48
